The Narre South Saints U14 Boys team has capped off an incredible season with a thrilling victory in the AFLSE Rookie Me Regional Grand Final, defeating Berwick Junior Football Club 7.9.51 to 5.5.35 on Sunday, 25 August, at Casey Fields. This hard-fought win not only secures their place as champions but also serves as a testament to their growth and resilience throughout the season.

Under the guidance of Coach Matt Brennan and Assistant Coach Simon Martin, the Saints showcased their determination and skill, overcoming the intense pressure of a grand final to claim the title. Captained by the ever-reliable Koby B., the team played with unity and precision, leaving no doubt that they deserved this moment of glory.

Reflecting on the journey, it’s clear that the Narre South Saints U14 team has come a long way since their days as Auskickers. This season alone, they’ve demonstrated not just talent but also an unyielding commitment to improving with each game. Coach Matt Brennan has been consistently impressed by his team's development, and this grand final win is the culmination of their hard work and dedication.

What makes this victory even sweeter is the redemption it represents. Earlier in the season, the team was eyeing a strong comeback after a narrow loss in last year's U13 grand final. This time, they didn’t just win—they dominated, showing how far they’ve come as a team.

As the Saints celebrate this well-deserved triumph, they also look forward to the future with great anticipation. With a talented roster, strong coaching, and an unwavering community of supporters, the Narre South Saints U14 Boys team has established itself as a powerhouse in junior football. The 2025 season holds even more promise as they continue to build on this success.
